Problem with allocating semaphores on UNIX

Question:

I received the error:
GEN-F-ERRALLOCSEM, error allocating semaphore
-SYS-E-ERRMSG, No space left on device
What does it mean?

Answer:

SoftLink products use a maximum of two (2) semaphores; You should see if there are any other active applications that are not releasing semaphores.
