Missing jobs in the Active Monitor

Question:

I have connected the Active Monitor/FASTCopy Console to an Executor and do not see any of the scheduled, active, or archived jobs that I originally submitted. Is there a way I can see ALL jobs on a given Executor?

Answer:

You will only see the scheduled / active / scheduled jobs that were submitted by the user you are currently using to connect to the Executor with. For example, if you logged on to the Executor to submit a job as user roy, and subsequently logged in to the Executor as user bob, you will see all jobs associated with bob, and not those associated with roy. Ensure that you are connected to the Executor with the correct credentials.

To see all jobs on a given Executor, log on to the Executor through the Console as user "administrator" - not simply a user with administrator privileges. To define a special user that can see all jobs, modify the following registry key on the Executor itself:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SoftLink\Services\Softlink Scheduler] "Privileged Users"="system,administrator"

Additional users may be added by modifying the key value, and using a comma as a separator. For example, to allow user "roy" to see all jobs on the executor, the key value should be changed to:

"Privileged Users"="system,administrator,roy"
