Jobs Purge Policy

Question:

In Windows, Jobs on the Executor seem to disappear after a relatively short period of time. Is there a way to keep the job transfer audits for a longer period of time?

Answer:

Job transfer audits (logs) can consume a large amount of disk space. By default, FASTCopy purges old job audits after a period of six (6) hours for successful and aborted jobs, and twelve (12) hours for jobs completed in error. To change the defaults, you must edit the following fields in:
C:\Program Files\SoftLink\scheduler\config\server.conf:
(Please note that the values are specified in minutes)
Abort Purge Policy=360
Error Purge Policy=720
Warning Purge Policy=720
Success Purge Policy=360

In order to update the changes please run the following command (from the ~softlink/scheduler/bin directory):
sched_control.exe -refresh -server=archive
You should get the following messages; please verify that all the servers are in active mode.
Scheduler Servers Status Report:
