"flogicd is already running" error

Question:

I receive the error flogicd is already running even though I am sure that it is not, what could be wrong?

Answer:

Add "flogicd -force" to your system startup process. flogicd remembers the last PID it used and looks for this PID upon system startup to see if it is already active. If, during bootup, another process takes the old flogicd PID, flogicd will think the process is still active. By adding the -force qualifier, it will force flogicd to load.
