Question:

In the SoftLink Monitor, I am trying to retrieve a log file by right-clicking and selecting view log, but receive the following error message:

SCHED_API-E-COMMES, failed to establish communication to sched api server
-NET-E-RESHOST, failed to resolve hostname
-SYS-E-ERRMSG, Valid name, no data record of requested type

Answer:

Add HOST_NAME to your hosts file on your local machine.
In windows, this is located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
For example:

127.0.0.1 HOST_NAME
