FASTCopy and firewall ports

Question:

Which ports need to be open in the Firewall to allow FASTcopy operations?

Answer:

FASTCopy uses TCP/IP port 5745 (registered at IANA). To allow computers outside your internal network to push or pull files to computers on your internal network, open port 5745 for incoming connections. To allow people inside you company to pull or push files to files outside of your internal network, open port 5745 for outgoing connections.
Note that connections can be further restricted (by user, directory, times etc) using the security database (see the Administrator Guide).
