FASTCopy Superserver is Softlink's high-end and unrestricted B2B version of FASTCopy. It enables organizations to receive and supply files on demand with no limitation on the number of clients or concurrent users. In this model, the clients are not charged any usage fee. The FASTCopy Superserver offers an architecture that seamlessly installs FASTCopy, together with a special license, onto your server. This license allows an unlimited number of clients to freely download and use FASTCopy to communicate with your server. Either server or client can initiate the file transfer. Post transfer processing is enabled on this version and the number of concurrent users is not restricted. The FASTCopy Superserver is based on a star topology and thus requires the user itself to pull and push files from / to a Superserver.

FASTCopy Superserver provides the same reliability, security, bandwidth controlled and automated file transfer technology as FASTCopy (Download a free evaluation kit).

FASTCopy Super Server offers the following:

Guaranteed file delivery including:
Recovery  from the point of failure within a block in the file.
     Manual and automatic recovery.
Hold and Resume capability for very large transfer operations.
     Scheduler  for transfer operations.
Central monitoring and control for problem tracking by operators.
     Enhanced integrity features.

Complete control over the network bandwidth  utilized by the file-transfer operation:
Absolute bandwidth limits (a specific operation takes no more than x Kb/second).
Relative bandwidth control (a specific operation takes no more than x% of what's available on the line).
Time-dependent bandwidth for very large operations, so that you can set different bandwidth limits for
different periods of time in advance.
Centralized bandwidth policy for transfer to certain nodes or sub-nets or by pre-defined users or
       applications.

Complete file transfer security and administration including:
Access Control features including rule-base screening eliminating the need for usernames or
passwords in scripts, resource protection and logical usernames use.
Untrusted network features (Internet etc.) including encryption and authentication.
     Untrusted local users features.

Capable of transferring just the differences between files at a block level over the network (for efficient replication).

Transparent on-the-fly compression capability.
Multi-Platform - Supports most UNIX systems (SUN/HP/AIX/SGI/DEC and more), OpenVMS, Windows NT/2000, and Windows 95/98. (See a detailed list)
Post-Transfer Processing (lets you specify with the transfer what will be executed at the end of the transfer on both nodes) eliminating the need to use "file watchers" to kick-off tasks at the end of transfers.
Callable Application Interface (API), designed to integrate into other applications and products.

Central on-line monitoring over all network wide transfer operations:
Provides immediate problem tracking and handling to minimize application downtime.
Open report and alert system that can send data to any external monitoring system.
Keeps historical information for post-mortem case studies and capacity planning.
