FASTCopy reduces the volume of data transferred through your network by using high compression-ratio methods.
In most Wide Area Networks (WAN) FASTCopy Transparent Compression significantly reduces transfer 3
to 10 times.
Compression is performed asynchronously to data transmission. While FASTCopy is transmitting one block of data over the network,
it is simultaneously compressing the next block.
Compression is carried out transparently, without any intermediate spooling of compressed data. You do not have to manually go through
the phases of compressing files, sending them and expanding them on the destination node.
FASTCopy lets you choose from a number of different compression methods, so compression can be optimized for the specific file type
transferred and the processor used.
